I had a chance to drive through Cleator Moor last week. But then
I realised there was a way around it.

Angela lived there for a year then left. She was really nice.
Take what you will from that.

Are you Bill Bryson?

You heard that Bill Bryson had been made Chancellor of Durham
University. An excellent institution and an excellent man.

I play in a rock band. Have done so for thirty years. We've played all over
the country and had some great times. Played Cleator Moor once only. Our
drummer got his face slashed in the Chinese after being asked where we were
from and our chief roadie was punched through the window of the truck. The
window wasn't down. Not the sort of place I'd bring my kids up in.... but
then again I said that about Workington 25 years ago!!! ;)

Good points? There are two good routes around it.

Then again, with a handle like 'troubleinstore' you may well fit in!!

Cleator Moor is a super little village with scenic views and some really
nice residents. I lived at The Flosh Hotel for 6 months a few years ago
and it was fantastic. It is within walking distance of Frizington and
Egremont, both places with lots of historical interest - for instance
Frizington was the birthplace of Edina Blackstock the inventor of the
cruet set, and Egremont has a castle which is unique because it was
breached in 1793 by a local man armed with a carrot, and is now resident
to the local under-10s lager club.

Definitely go, it will certainly be an eye-opener (don't worry this can
be sorted out at the hospital in Whitehaven).

Encouraging regards, Lou
