O/T Pipex - Can you get newsgroup through Pipex
Currently with Pipex, and receive mail through them, however, when I go
onto newsgroup, its through Outlook Express provided by Freeserve, (previous
provider). Can I get newsgroup through pipex and if so, how do I set it
up??
Doesn't appear to be any icons or help to set it up?
~TIA

Re: O/T Pipex - Can you get newsgroup through Pipex
Just set up an account in Outlook express using news.dial.pipex.com
Or if you don't know how try this...
http://www.dial.pipex.com/support/faq/news/olex-setup.shtml
(Note if you are a broadband customer DON'T choose "Connect using your phone line"!)

Further to Mike's answer, there are three Pipex servers:
news.dsl.pipex.com (binaries)
news-text.dial.pipex.com (just text)
nntp.dsl.pipex.com (binaries but with restricted monthly usage)
