NUTRIGRAIN AT KWIK SAVE MY STORY
Well this is an interesting one, popped into alocal kwik save the other day
looking for the promo packs and there were tons on the shelf at what i
thought were 98p for a pack of 8, however after grabbing 8 boxes i got to
the checkout and the lady scanned them and said they were 1.86, i sadi but
on the shelf it said 98p, and then i noticed that the packs i had whch were
the bluberry flavour were actually old stock from the last promotion last
year with a totally different short code on, even the actual products were
out of date, i pointed this out to the assistant who was bit red faced and
scuttled off to the manager, she came back, apologised profusely for the
mistake and i then basically demanded that i got 8 boxes at the stated price
of 98p which were actually in date and valid for the current promotion,
again off she scuttled to the manager to check this out and lo and behold my
wish was granted , i managed to get the 8 boxes which were actually in date
this time for a total of just 98p each instead of the correct price of
1.86, i think they were embarassed that i had found out they had stock
which was well past its sell by date on the shelves and decided to cut their
losses. I dont even eat the things and have now un wrapped all the bars,
given them to my nephews and nieces and have written all the codes down
ready to start entering again come tuesday.
The branch in question was yorkshire street,Rochdale, so if you rae buying
your packs from KS make sure you check they are actually the current
promotional packs and not the old ones.
