We had a nice time at thee weekend too, a whole chip pan fire to
ourselves!
I put the lid on, the flames went and I was relieved.... then *poof*
bloody
flames back!! (yep, I turned the heat off too), anyway, we've got one
smelly
bloody kitchen and me thinking I should have got the other (safer)
deep fat
fryer back to the shop and replaced (its faulty, hence the use of a
pan)

Fried food is bad for you - you've just proved it. If you'd stuck with
a nice salad you wouldn't have this problem.

Poor you, Tony. Out with yer soaps and bucket of water. I boiled eggs for
Orly a couple or more of months ago, for 3 hours. They exploded and attached
themselves to the wall in a thousand pieces and the smell was
blu' awful. Had to wash the whole place down, curtains and
everything. Thank goodness he doesn't have wall to wall. The neighbours,
bless em, must have thought WW3 had begun.
