Just had WPC and a WEM...
"Congratulations! You recently submitted a picture of yourself to be potentially included on the 7Â picture disc release of AudioslaveÂs eagerly anticipated comeback single ÂBe YourselfÂ, and IÂm pleased to tell you that your picture was chosen out of the 100s of entries!"
....which was nice...
And I had to email a "Formal consent" to them...
....this was followed by another email...
"Thanks Mike, I've received this OK.
The designer has your pic, and we will do our best to incorporate it into the final picture disc. The picture disc version of the single is out in the UK only on Monday 30th May, you'll be able to pre-order your copy here: www.hmv.co.uk very soon, I'm told it will be up there in the next few days. I'll email you when I know for sure it's on the site."
Cheap or what? Not even a free copy ogf the single! ;o)

Kingdom of Heaven is due to be released in the UK on May 6.
The epic crusades drama, starring Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings
trilogy), and directed by Sir Ridley Scott (Gladiator), follows the
adventures of an ordinary young man forced to participate in an
extraordinary war.
It stars some of Britain's most established acting talents, including Jeremy
Irons and Liam Neeson, and is the first lead role for Bloom, who plays a
blacksmith who finds himself forced by circumstances to take up arms.
The world premiere will be held in Leicester Square on Monday, May 2 and you
and a friend could be there to see the stars. Two runners up will receive a
Kingdom of Heaven watch.

As a matter of interest, was there anything in the rules/T & C about
copyright?
Might be worth checking, as if it states you give them the copyright you
won't be able to use it again yourself in the future?
My winning photo in the Cats Protection comp gave them only limited use of
the photo, I kept the copyright.
How mean of them not to even give you a free copy when they're having the
benefit of your work.
