Re: Unique-Bid
"They"?
Don't you mean "I"?
Given that you claim to be, "a small ethically-run privately owned UK-based company," shouldn't your ethics include being honest about who you are?
Or should we believe that you are so taken with this website that you created a Nickname in it's honour?
Try it out, a little honesty goes a long long way to enabling trust.
A little deviousness however, makes most people run a mile.

Sort of competition? No, I think not - just straightforward bidding that cost you nearly £2 each time you bid.
IMHO - Not ANY sort of competition !

Re: Unique-Bid
If anyone is contemplating bidding for the VIP trip to the Superbikes, I'd
like you to get in touch with me first. I'll be as "helpful" as I
can..............nuff said! - and I will only respond to names I know and
recognise for good reasons.........

no paul the truth of the matter is i dabbled in premium rate and text
services some time back but the advertising costs versus revenue were to
much to bear.

Re: Unique-Bid
Yes Arch, i have always kept a keen eye on business including telecoms from
a very early age, indeeed we still have our own security company which is
doing quite well at the moment. If you look into the history and finacial
related history of a lot of these telecoms operators you will certainly find
a lot of interesting reading in terms of how profitable and how much the
directors are actually making. I now have access to an instant reporting
service which can give me these details at any time 24/7.

Re: Unique-Bid
It may be a "Genuine" attempt to make money but it is not a "Competition" as is intended in this newsgroup.
It was also posted in a deceitful manner.
And as for me, "Constantly putting people down," I have to thank you, for giving me the best laugh I've had in years!
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!!
Since you seem to have learnt the proper use of the caps lock key, I'm giving you the benefit of the polite reply that your previous posting history proves that you so richly don't deserve.
Now, if you could just post competitions instead of massaging (that's the polite term) your ego and criticising others, maybe your presence could be tolerated and it won't be required to get yet another of your internet accounts removed.
I live in hope, but not in expectation. :o)

Just out of interest Mike - I see you are replying to a poster who
logs in under the username of "Stefan Kaniuk". What makes you assume
that the poster is same person who posted on this group in badly
splelt capitals in the past?
I would say you've been taken in by a practical joker.
