It only takes seconds to search for any post. Go to 
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/uk.rec.competitions
then put your search term into the "search this group" box - that's
the one in the yellow band, not the box at the very top which searches
all groups. 

Run the search, then click "sort by date" so you can be sure any
results you get don't refer to ancient comps. 

Using DJ mixer as the search term, I got your message and then the
next most recent was in December 2003 - long enough ago to be certain
that it wasn't the same comp - so your post isn't a repost.
