If you registered a CC with paypal, they will take your funds + the balance
from the CC.

Look under account options.

Hi It says that I can withdraw 177 but I need to pay 200. It says that I
have to transfer funds from my bank account which will take 7 days but the
auction needs to be paid within 5 days. I have always had funds in the
account and I though that I could just pay by credit card.

On your paypal account page there will be the option to add credit card details. Once you've added them, when you go to pay for the item there will be an option to pay via your credit card on file.

Its not there, I have a credit card registered but when I click on the pay
now button I get
"The amount of this transaction exceeds your remaining Sending Limit and
cannot be processed until you set up Direct Debit. You can complete this
payment now by setting up Direct Debit below. Once you have set up Direct
Debit, please go back to eBay to complete this payment. but i want to pay by
credit card.

If you have a debit/credit card registered with your Paypal account - pay
the amount using the Paypal symbol and they will arrange to debit your card
with whatever amount is required to settle the transaction. First the amount
on your paypal account will be used and balance off your card.

Re: o/t paypal help
It may be that the seller is not registered to accept credit card payments
or only accepts payments from cleared funds - some sellers do this. It
might be worth contacting the seller and explaining the situation.

Re: o/t paypal help
It sounds like you have exceeded your spending limit and need to verify
your account. To do this Paypal charge a small fee to your account. You
input the code number on your statement to verify it and they refund the
amount and you have no limit on your account and can then pay with your
credit card.

Try unregistering your bank account and see if it will take it from the
credit card. Had to register my bank account as I had reached the receiving
limit and then wouldn't let me take money from my credit card so I took my
bank account off and hey presto worked. If you need to pay in 5 days tell
the person you are paying and I am sure they will give you a little more
time.

Re: o/t paypal help
Thanks very much for all your help. I had emailed Pay-pal to get help but
they have not returned my e mail, I got my husband to set up a Pay-pal
account and no problems, It is now paid. I was starting to panic that I
would not get the goods and get bad feedback. I have tried to get the
account verified for future use so hopefully this wont hapen again.

Thanks again
Good luck
