Slighty OT - Gas cooker thermastat not really working
Got a gas cooker ... and when you light it the flame goes full whack
But then stays there, even when you lower down the gas mark it just stays on
high at the flame.
It burns everything in the oven - night mare
Any ideas or things to check ?

It sounds like the thermostat has gone.
If you don't know what you are doing, call in a CORGI gas engineer who
repairs cookers.
