Good afternoon all.
I have just become aware of the responses to my test post of 12 April via 
Googling as the post in question didn't actually make it to my Nildram 
server as I am no longer using the German sevice. Hence my reason for 
testing in the first place.
Apologys to those that find a one line test marked O/T offensive in this 
newsgroup. I did also test in alt.test but it didn't come through there 
either and my primary concern is being able to read the posts in this group 
which I consider the best and most friendly on Usenet.
Thanks Arch and others for defending me, it's nice somebody thinks I'm 
polite, my colleagues and most of my'clients' at work might not agree though 
:-)

And please, no bickering here, I have always regarded this place as a 
largley tranquil retreat in the Usenet world. :-))

If you are struggling, you might want to try uk.test - as long as you
don't put 'ignore' in the subject line, you get a couple of emails from
various places (about 3 in total, I think) to let you know it's got
that far.
