Primula Dips - forget about it
Oh, surprise surprise - there was no winner in the recent Primula dips
on-pack comp where the prize of a home entertainment system was only
going to be awarded if all eight items matched the choice of the
judges.
Items had to be arranged in the order in which they suit a modern
lifestyle and the judges chose
E - are made in a flavour for everyone
B - are bursting with flavour
A - have a great fresh taste
D - are more dippable
F - come in large 170g tubs
G - are something you should tell your friends about
C - look tempting
H - should be available in your fridge
What? Surely having something readily and easily available is vital to
a modern lifestyle, not bottom of the heap? And don't the first three
say more or less the same thing? I'd have thought even with an
old-fashioned lifestyle you'd have wanted them to taste good.
I've often suspected that in these "If no entry matches the judges
choice no prize will be awarded" comps, the judges make their choice
by looking to see what combinations nobody matched, and I must say
this makes me suspect it more than ever. I should be very surprised if
they even give away any DVDs for getting the first five places right.
And what's more the dip was disgusting!

Is there a contact address anywhere so we can all complain, Jane?
If enough of us do it might have some effect?

Surprise surprise yet again - the results sheet is on plain paper with
no logo and no address - something tells me they didn't want a reply!
