Tb help please
I wouldn't normally ask but as it is a limited competition mainly for
tourists in London I wouldn't be stepping on too many toes here.
What is the max number of green and blacks easter eggs that could fill a
London eye capsule.
I have the dimensions of a capsule but cannot find the egg size. It looks
like a normal size larger easter egg.
Should I just guess or try to work it out? I have to post tomorrow as it
closes this week. I normally ignore these comps as I don't have a clue but
thought I would try as I think it may be low entry.

Forgot to say you get a form once you have bought a ticket to go on the
London eye and the cd is 17 April.
It is for a trip to Mexico but you need to be very fast!

I have one here. Do they want the size of the egg or the egg in the
box, or do you have to work out what they want?
The box, roughly, is 10x7x6 inches, but I don't have a ruler handy atm.

Thanks Vicky, it just says Green and Blacks organic easter eggs. I assume
it is minus the box.
Thanks again

Well, this one is a G&B organic twists egg.
(milk chocolate, amusingly, since apparently Nick's mum spent ages
searching for a dark chocolate one for me. Must remind her to take
her glasses with her when she shops :-)

Ok. I'm trying to think of something I can use to give you the size
without having a ruler. How about I measure it in terms of stamp-books?
*gets a book of first class stamps and takes the egg out*

Right, the width at the widest point is approx the length of a book of
stamps plus the width of 1 stamp
The height is approx the length of an opened out book of stamps minus
the height of 1 stamp.

Hope that's useful, it's the most accurate measuring I can do at this
time of night. :-)

(and that egg is a lot smaller than it looked from outside the box!)

Re: Tb help please
If anyone is still awake, all measurements for the London eye capsules are
length,8m x diameter, 4m but I cannot see height mentioned anywhere. I need
to work out volume I think of an egg and the capsule and then divide them.
Does that sound right?

If the capsule was a proper cylinder, which from the pictures I've seen, it's not, you could use:
 ?r²h = 3.14 x 2² x 8 = 100m³ approx
Might be a starting point.

You're welcome. You're lucky she bought me an egg I don't like. :-)
