BBC Election game lets players become PM
By Robin Langford

BBC Radio Five Live has launched an online game designed to generate
interest in the forthcoming General Election in May.

Developed by interactive design agency Preloaded, The King of the Swing game
gives players the objective of "winning the keys to Number Ten".

Players choose their party name and colours before boarding their election
battle bus. They visit 12 marginal constituencies where the electorate grill
players on their knowledge of election issues, politics and constituency
trivia.

If the player answers correctly, they win the seat. The questions get harder
and harder in every round and eventually, just as the in the real election,
a 12% swing will overthrow the government and the players take the mantle of
Prime Minister.

All players who answer all 12 questions right will be put into a prize draw
to win a VIP trip to Wimbledon as well as a tour of the Houses of
Parliament.
