O/T ish Trying to win a PSP
I did a quick search to see if there were any comps running to win a PSP as
my son is desperate for one and there's no way he can afford it...

The first one I looked at was here :

http://www.netfreestuff.co.uk/fb2923_Win-a-PSP-Console-Plus-2-Games.html

At the bottom after filling in details it asks if you want to register with
webtrends and I said no - when I clicked on submit it did something strange.
Would someone else be willing to try it and see if the same happens...if it
does I think a big complaint is in order.

TIA
Jo

I've just spoken to them and they were hacked over the weekend. They
have been trying to work out what had been done to them as their
traffic has been down to almost zero over the last couple of days, but
they were completely unaware of this aspect of it and they are
relieved to have found out and are dealing with it as a matter of
urgency.

"Something strange" covers a lot of sins. What exactly? I'm not inclined
to start investigating something like that unless I have some idea what
I'm letting myself in for.

Too late Raj, they've sorted it out now. It was taking everybody who
tried to register (and it was doing it if you clicked the yes box as
well as if you clicked the no box) to a google search on a rather
unpleasant term. The result of hackers.
