Moving house from Dalry to East Craigs Rigg.
Looking for a reputable removals firm to help put, anyone here got any 
disaster stories so I know who to avoid?  What about any recommendations?

Had a quote from Clark and Rose for almost 650!!!  Jeezuz, this is 
expensive business.

On two moves, we found cheaper price came from firms in area to which we 
were moving. Maybe chance - who would know.
Tell them you're paying cash = no VAT.

Only moving 5.5 miles...
Bishops Move just been and offered what seems very competitive rates.

We are on third floor, with two bedrooms.
They will dismantle my sons cabin bed, my double bed, my large PC desk and 
my corner sofa.  They will then re-assemble all this at the other end.  He 
emphasised its a very hands off approach from the customer point of view, 
which is a relief.

Total including VAT and Insurance was 450.

Moved 1.5 years ago and used Guardian, which we were pleased with. Got them
to pack everything / dismantle bed and was amazed how quickly it was done!
