I am Edith. I'm off to Castleton in the Peak District with a friend.
We are going to try out the several village pubs and have a big meal.
Which we will work off with a long walk on Kinder Scout on the Friday 
plus any other form of exercise that we can work into our stay. 

How are you. I note that you are still having problems with your 
verandah. Edith's verandah seems to belong to the same category of 
object as Mrs Slocum's pussy in "Are you being served". Neither of you,
apparently, can do anything with it. 

Apart from that, how are you?

Hello darling. I'm fine. The usual, wondering if the grass is greener on the
other side. You'll have to take a squint for me while you are at your Peak
and let me know. :0)))))
It's really nice of you to pop in again. Those 'other lot' have done a bunk
you know. How rude. As for Mrs Slocum's pussy, if it gets as much 'exercise'
as mine, it's ears will be glued flat to it's head and it will have done a
bunk too by now.
I wonder if that's why they've all disappeared..........nooooooooooooo!

Off to do the 50 meter crawl, on my verandah, plask! (Stick around for the

I suppose it's not a good time to ask how the boink organisation 
is going? So far, I know of only two people who have committed 
to attending. Three if you count your good self. It may be three 
weeks or so away but I am leaving for the UK next week.

Oh, and Edith is not attending. She hopelessly mis-timed her 
visit to Cumbria. It's a shame. I was going to buy her a pint.

I would have liked that, Johnny. I didn't mis-time it, Johnny. I did
mis-time Easter though. Easter came earlier this year to my disappointment
