Hello,

Today at work I said to an Irish chap "Here comes Hawdit and Dawdit to fix 
the light", and he was completely confused, he asked me if I knew them lol.

Cannot find the term online except in a few personal posts on Google. 
Anyone know the origins?  is it offensive?  What exactly does it imply?  I 
always thought it meant the same as "Two simpletons"...

Any other thoughts? :)
