shelving
my wife wants extra shelves in the kitchen but they must be with hidden
supports. ie the shelf slots into a holder. have searched the usual diy's
but found nothing. is there a proper name for these? any other suggestions
for suppliers?

Find a store that deals in Tapley furniture and have a look at the design of
there wall cupboards. Take a good look how they support there item. With
tong and grove board.

IKEA sells shelves that slot onto invisible brackets.
