I have a hotpoint wm52 with 2 small tears in the seal. consequently, it
leaks. Anyhow, how easy/difficult is it to replace?
and more to the point, how do I do it?

You can usually get them from the market and they take about 20 mins
to fix.

You need to remove the lid. There are two jubilee type bands, one on
the drum and one on the door surround. Be careful the seal has a top
and bottom.
