Can you actually feel the difference, Edith?

We saw him when he came to Edinburgh, you know. He was staying with our
Cardinal, Gordon Gray, (just up the road from us) and my young son and I
waited to see the Popemobile arrive. His bouncers panicked when he decided
to get out of the Popemobile and stroll over the crowds, handing out
blessings to us all.

I was sorry to see him go. I wonder what sort of guy we'll get next?

I could give it a go. Not much on at the moment. Do you think it'd help get
me a bit closer to the nice Catholic girl next door?

All the media speculation and prediction has caused the main event to
anti-climax.

Morning INRI. I didn't listen to speculation or prediction. To me JP was the
only leader I know of, with power over so many people, who didn't start a
war. That takes a lot of doing.

Edith Not Catholic-not anything.

Hopefully one with a broader mind when it comes to - you know what. We all
have a place in this world. None should be excluded and let's hope the men
in over populated countries can either use a condom or put a knot in it from
now on before the whole world is over rumpled.

Yes, that's always been a bit of a sore point with the Vatican.

Women priests - married priests - they'd help to bring things up to date
too.

Actually I wouldn't care if there were no priests on the planet. Waste o
money if you ask me but for those who feel they need them, please......
I'm all for helping the poor back onto their feet, sharing out medicine
equally and using money to repair the planet and see how far I've got. Not a
single step forward since the day I was born.Just the opposite. You can't
beat evil, no matter how evil you are.
