Underfloor Heating
Hi
Can anyone give me recommendations / experiences with regards to electric
underfloor heating.
We are going to have ceramic tiles laid through our kitchen/diner (approx 15
Sq M) and would also like to get the underfloor heating fiited at the same
time. I understand that recent regs stipulate that this has to be carried
out by a suitably qualified professional but am looking for some pointers as
to the actual product that anyone has had experience with, and any
indicative costs.
Many thanks for any help
Pete

Re: Underfloor Heating
I've recently fitted electric underfloor heating in my bathroom. I used
warmup - www. warmup.co.uk
There are a number of other manufacturers which I can't comment on but I'm
happy with this one. The type I used was a single wire rather than a mat but
it's quite straighforward to lay. I layed mine on a tilbacker board which
has the advantage of most of the heat goes into the tile rather than half
going into the floor which speeds up heating time aswell as saving on costs.
There are floor area calculation and cost charts on the website.
