It's morning here now. We're in for snow today. Thought we might
have seen the last of it but there you are. The old stuff had
all melted too.

What are you up to this weekend, Edith? More verranda
adventures? Why don't you get them to redesign it while they are
there? Expand it, add a hot tub and a decent sound system.

I have two kids in two different hockey tournaments. Up to five
games each depending on how far they go. And it's a lot of
driving all over the place. Each game is in a different arena in
a different corner of the city or even a few in surrounding
towns. In a snow storm.

I don't really want to have my shins kicked. You could kick my dentist
for me, for wasting my time by not giving me a long enough appointment
to fix a broken molar. Or you could kick the shins of the telemarketer
that phoned me just now asking for "Evelyn". Evelyn is the name of the
person who had our number before we did, at least five years ago. I was
very rude and he put the phone down on me. Or you could kick the shins
ov the groundsman and the coach who cancelled my son's soccer match this
afternoon, and it's stopped raining for the time being anyway.

I'm crossing my fingers. Below zero two nights in a row and Orly having to
scrape ice off his windscreen

If only. My verandahs are in rest mode again and I am sinking into a form
for forced-self-control and going mad at the same time.Gees, I deserve an
Oscar.
