local fitness
Hello there.

Anyone have any suggestions for where I could join an aerobics class or
a circuit training class? I'm looking for somewhere local to the
Grassmarket area that'll cost a couple of pounds a session. I'm also
interested in yoga or pilates classes. I just moved to Edinburgh and
have found quite a few gyms, which all look and sound nice, but as they
charge an arm and a leg for what they offer, I thought I'd ask around
for something quaint and local (and perhaps cheap) - maybe there's a
community centre or something like that nearby I can turn to for my
excercise needs?

Thanks for your help:)

You can walk from the Grassmarket to the top of Arthur's Seat in an
hour. Good exercise, and costs nothing :-)

Thanks Chris, great idea, and cheap, you are absolutely right:) I've
been on the Arthur's Seat walk once, and gone on a couple of walks in
and around Edinburgh, too. In addition to that I wanted to join a gym
.... :)
