I've just been through the centre of town in a car for the first time in a 
very long time.

What is the point of all the redirections?

Is it a twisted revenge package designed to punish all car drivers who voted 
against the charging?

Was it designed by a 6 year old who likes drawing road maps with lots of 
corners?

Was it meant to lower the value of properties on roads previously unsullied 
by over much traffic?

Is it a plan by the Cockburn association to finally deprive Princes St of 
the few shoppers it has left?
