Morning Edith
No sign of you yet this morning. Still in bed? Show a leg. Wakey Wakey!
It's a fine morning here after a foggy start. The sun is breaking through
and the market was bustling. And they had pickling onions and vinegar on one
of the fruit and veg stalls! Can't beat a good, old fashioned, market.

Good Afternoon Rex. I've been painting my furniture today over at my place,
which is in a turmoil, Orly's place too. He is in the middle of putting a
toilet in so we are working in both flats at the same time. It will be a
blessing when both places are tidy again.
We are epecting the temperature to fall this week coming. It's down to +14C
at the moment with blue skies and sunshine. Perfect.
Me old knees are getting stiff widt cold. I'd better go down on t'shore for
some smush for't fire.

Yeah.....BUT WE'VE got neer LOO. What r'we gonna..I know..behind the old
oak tree on the corner. That settled..Orly bought his, second hand from a
posh 7 year old house, it's white and much nicer than your'n. The seat even
came with the pot for 80s beat that mate. Orly removed his mustard yellow
ones yesterday. The new ones is white, thank goodness. I'm going to fiff up
the room with some scented thingies when he's done and a bowl of flowers
which he doesn't like and a painting to sit and look at while on the move. I
wish he'd hurry up.
Edith hates waiting.

You really will have to explain that comment, sorry but I can't understand
it. Is it some Norwegian in joke?
Rex. Bewildered.
PS The loo is out in the yard, the tiles are on the wall. Everything is
going fine.

What. You've done all that in a day, Rex.? My auntie's loo was out in the
yard-with a latch on the door. Those latches were great. They just fell into
place and made a nice sound when you opened the door. Great toys.
Oooooooorly. Second lair of paint, now please. You are already at it? Sorry
sweetheng.

Sorry Rex. I mixed two different posts. Don't bother with it. I've already
forgotten what it meant.

I know what you mean. I have spent the last few days tiling a bathroom and
grouting the tiles. I seem to have had very irritated eyes all the time I
have been working with the tile cement and grout. God knows what the
solvent is in some of these products! Now that part of the job is finished,
I'm very pleased about it.
I had a very nice write up in the local paper today - advertising the latest
book - an anthology of published short stories and lyrics. You get a
mention.

Me? I? Will I be famous as ell and become a celebrity with enormous incomes
and, and, and, just tell them all I want is a good wagon, a strong horse and
a portable toilet. I'm sick of being stationed in one place. It's driving me
bezerk. I need to be on the road, out in the country, away from asphalt
jungles, urg, I get like this every Autumn, like a net is closing in on me,
like I am about to enter a jail cell. Gees, I'm off over to Orly's with some
nails. He's down to the skirting boards and I expect the pot to be in place
within the weekend, then he can turn the water on and I can wash the dishes,
gawd, I'm so depressed suddenly. Tell them I'll settle for a cottage in
Thackthwaite or Borrowdale.
Kindest regards,
Edith Restlessdatti.
