If you're in Keswick on Easter Monday....
......give us a wave! Belfagan will be dancing in Keswick on Easter Monday -
starting in Packhorse Court about 12.30 and later probably down by Lakeside.

Anyone lurking out there who hasn't been in Keswick on a bank holiday
before - it's well worth going, as more or less all the shops - including
the charity shops - will be open, and the market will be in full swing.
And.... you get some morris dancing for good measure! What more could you
ask for on a rainy Monday in March?

I'm sure that Orly would drop a line to her friends if she wasn't well.

Wish I could, but I'll have to wait for a few days when my kid is in
school and his dad will be around in the evenings, and wait to find out
how expensive my broken tooth is going to be. That's what it's boiling
down to now.

(Do I come and have it pulled out/filled by my rare NHS dentist in
Aberdeen? The airfare is about $500, just about the same as the dentistry.)

aha - it was you, was it? Thought I saw a distant hanky fluttering in the
breeze.

And it didn't rain. In fact it was fairly sunny. We had a really good day,
with large crowds of happy people making an appreciative audience. Though I
was wrong about the market. I was sure they had a market on bank holidays,
but it wasn't on today.

I've recently acquired a minidisk recorder, and managed to record some of
our music (with many bells chinking away) so eventually we'll have a clip of
this on the website, for those who are masochistic enough to want to
download it. Eventually. Once I've learned how to do it. It's a whole new
learning experience, this MD stuff.

Glad to hear you had a good day. Traditional Morris music and
dancing recorded on state-of-the-art MD recorders! There's
someone rolling in their grave somewhere.

My lovely daughters and missen are recording a new dance album. I might have
a use for some Morris bells and some background fiddle 'n' flute. Got just
the track... Dunno about yer royalties but you can be sure Belfagan will get
a mench on the cover!! Let us know when your soundbyte is up.

Oh, we're not 100% traditional. Not many morris bands use a sax.

Well, I'll let you hear what I've got, and you can see what you think. Don't
know if the sax sounds quite as oldy-worldy as the fiddle would, though.
