Some of you might have read this already. Sunday times 25/9 compared two
Citroen C1, one 1.4HDi and one 1.0i . Both cars were driven in convoy one
lap around M25. The fuel consumption over the 116 miles were:

1.4HDi 82.7mpg
1.0i   85.5mpg

Not only is petrol fuel cheaper, but the 1.0i was quicker and more refined.
