Oh dear. My coolant has changed colour.
Thanks to everyone who replied to my other posts. I took it to a garage and
he supposedly fixed it, but after a couple of drives around the block, the
temp was up in the red again.
But it gets worse... The water in the coolant tank is now dark, murky
grey/black stuff, instead of the clear orange water it used to be.
How could this happen? (I've got a really bad feeling about it).
I'm taking it back to the garage tonight but I would appreciate your
thoughts too.
thanks
Owen

If it was the orange stuff, then some ignoramus has mixed the wrong type of
coolant with it.
Or it could be the startings of head gasket failure.
But I'd almost put money on mixing coolant types that should *not* be mixed.
Get it fully drained, flushed and filled with the correct concentration of
only one type NOW!
