Why are there so many seat squabs and backs littered along the side of the
line between Leatherhead and Cheam. There don't seem to be any south of
Leatherhead so who is the vandal in Leatherhead ?

Posh little gits I expect. When I travelled from Holmwood to North
Dulwich as a schoolboy in the 1960s, the 4-Subs used to regularly lose
their seat cushions and light bulbs. A contemporary at Alleyns actually
got 'done' in 1964.
