It's a bit worrying. Would you all like to contribute something towards my
fare, and I'll just nip across to Norway and check her out?

I've done one bit of behind-the-scenes investigating, but so far no answer.

You went up the M74? Oh dear. But you survived. If you came by plane
presumably you didn't have Orly's big bandwagon - did you hire a car?

Yes, Ally. A tiny little thing that whizzed my head off and gave me neck and
shoulder pains and dig this, I couldn't get the wardrobe innit.Orly thought
it was great, steering wheel ont wrong side, gears ont wrong side, Orly
putting it int first all the time with his left hand and bringing us to an
abrupt holt. I feel like I spent my whole holiday in a dyke. It wasn't "Keep
to your left" this time, oh no. It was - "I'm up the blu88y dyke, pull out
onto the road OOOOOOrly. Skumph!"
Then he got the hang of it and we found ourselves on the A74, heading for
Douglas and Prestwick. Now that was easy. We missed the turn off and landed
in Kilmarnock (?) a very historical place. By then I'd already moved my
bowels behind a stone wall and three bushes. The flowers ull be growing wild
in Scotland this year, a'az tellin yuh.

Yours, Edith.
