Not sure about Luenen, but if you can get up to Muenster, there's
always Pinkus Mueller's brewpub. Very nice, unusually light-coloured
Altbier.

Trains will get you to Duesseldorf too, where you have a choice of
excellent Altbier brewpubs (Im Fuechschen, zum Uerige, Schumacher,
etc.)
