Beat the burglar.   
Interesting programme on the BBC this morning. A staged burglary of a
carpenter's home.

All the information in the world isn't a lot of use if you don't apply
it.

9:15 BBC 1.

In 15 minutes including the getting in and getting out, the ex con had
taken thousands from the young couple and stripped the man of his means
of earning a living.

Interesting essay on how to pack in an hurry if you get nothing else
out of it.

At one time that would have been a hanging offence. perhaps we're less
civilised now ...

Bear in mind an electrical fault, gas explosion or chip pan fire could
do the same thing in the same amount of time.
