Loose fill insulation    
I need to insulate a small cavity wall from above. Is it possible to buy
loose fill insulation to drop in? If so what is best. I wondered about
using polystyrene beads from a bean bag. Any suggestions welcome.

you can buy bags of vermaculite from most builders merchants.  google it to 
find out more.
