Enhanced First Class service
Virgin apparently now offer an enhanced First Class evening service.
Previously, they only offered a light hot evening snack. Tonight on
the 'Welsh Dragon', they were offering complimentary hot meals to First
passengers such as Cumberland sausage with mash and vegetables - very
nice!
Is this the case on all evening Virgin Trains to/from Euston after 5pm?

Call me a cycnic but they probably had a load of frozen meals nearing their
sell-by-date and no chance of selling them all at the usual high price.
Either that or they got an anonymous tip-off that somebody important was
travelling on the train, such as a reporter from a national newspaper,
railway magazine, etc.

Re: Enhanced First Class service
Nope, it's a new service on 'selected' Euston departures between 5 and
6.35
Also there are some breakfast trains which will have 'enhanced service'
(choice of smoothies, yoghurts, muffins etc on the starter trolley)
The food offered is also changing on all trains - no more sandwiches,
now it's meats and cheeses, pate etc.

Any chance of them bringing back the Nottage Hill IC used to offer?
