Bryan Harris -v- The Inland Revenue

 

Your constituent Bryan Harris has contacted the IBRG again, complaining 
that if the Inland Revenue dont stop persecuting and harassing him they 
will drive him out of work and onto incapacity benefits.  Mr. Harriss 
health is being affected by malicious Inland Revenue oppression.  He 
needs effective action NOW from his Member of Parliament to protect his 
interests.  Please dont leave Bryan Harris like my MPs [Sir Rhodes 
Boyson (Con) and Barry Gardiner  (Lab)] left me to be terrorised and 
totally destroyed by the Inland Revenue, who are corrupt to the core, 
and a law unto themselves.  

 

The Inland Revenue have unlawfully ignored Bryan Harriss letter of 10 
January 2005, but continue to subject him to inhuman and degrading 
treatment by demanding 1661.39 in Revenue Assessments, Penalties and 
Interests.  Like Bryan Harris, when I requested a legitimate tax rebate 
from the IR they maliciously came after me and robbed me of my job, home 
and possessions.  What started with a 500 pound demand in 1984, ended 
with a 68,831.31 demand in 1996?  And an illegal bankruptcy Court Order 
that was issued by Mr. Registrar Pimm on 6 December 1996, which was 
contrived to rob me of my home and personal belongings on 30 March 1999.  
Yes, on 30 March 1999, I was put on the street at 7.00am (by 17 
Policemen) with the clothes I stood up in, and no place to live.  This 
was good old British justice at its best.  Please see The Guardian Web

On Wednesday 23 March 2005 at 9.00pm, BBC1 Panorama exposed the 
despicable corruption at the Customs and Excise.  Does the Inland 
Revenue also think they are above the law, and can ignore Mr. Harriss 
legitimate correspondence of 10 January 2005?  This is deliberate Inland 
Revenue maladministration, while the demands and oppression continue to 
destroy peoples lives.  This is the SCAM at the Inland Revenue.  These 
evil Inland Revenue Bastards must be brought to justice in a court of 
law.  This public interest problem must be raised in the floor of the 
House of Commons at the earliest opportunity.  The Inland Revenue are 
destroying FAMILIES, and PEOPLES LIVES.  Sorry for shouting.  But if you 
were in Mr. Harriss and my shoes I am certain you would understand.  

 

Please put Mr. Harriss IR case in the hands of Ann Abraham the 
Parliamentary Ombudsman for a Full investigation into the (deliberate) 
maladministration of the Inland Revenue immediately.

Dear Shirley Robinson, Inland Revenue Area Director,
 

 

1)  I Bryan Mark Harris request copies of the following, which I believe 
I am
entitled to under the law.

 

2)  Under section 7 & 35 of the Data Protection Act  !998 and the 
Freedom of
Information Act, I am asking to be furnished with ALL information on me 
held
in related offices of the Inland Revenue.  These should include ALL
documents at the Bailiffs and Solicitors Office at the Inland Revenue.

 

3)  Please supply me with copies of all documents, internal memos, 
reports,
etc that have my name on it or relating to my affairs, whether it is 
typed,
hand written or electronically produced, etc.

 

4)  In a letter dated 22 December 2004 from Annabel Fletcher, Complaints 
Manager of the Inland Revenue, which states, Although Self Assessment 
returns for the years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 have been issued to you 
you have not yet returned them.  In the absence of the return for 2001-
2002 a determination has been raised based on estimated income.  Please 
supply ALL the information and documentation relating to the 
determination that the IR raised on me.

 

 5)  Please supply me with copies of all documents etc, containing my 
name or
are related to my affairs, which were sent out from, or received into 
any of
your offices in any way. ie including post, fax, Email, memos, notes, or
transcripts of telephone conversations or meetings, by any clerk,
administrator, Inspector, Executive of or other personnel.

 

6)  Please furnish me with the gist and decisions reached as a result of 
any
conversation in which my name was mentioned or my case discussed.

 

7)  Please supply me with a list of any documents you are refusing to
disclose and the reason for your concealment.  Also confirm that no 
third
party has been given revenue documents or files relating to my affairs,
which would limit the disclosure requested. For example the Bailiffs, 
etc.

 

8)  Please confirm that no documents have been lost, altered or 
destroyed or
will be destroyed to limit the disclosure I am now requesting.

 

9)  Please give an undertaking that that no vetting of the file will be
undertaken to conceal information I am entitled to under the 
aforementioned
Acts or that would limit a FULL disclosure.

 

10)  The data controller is entitled to a fee of 10.00 for compliance 
with
the above requests, which I am prepared to pay, if required to do so.
Within 21 days of receipt of this document the data controller is 
required
to inform me of her/his intention to comply and whether a fee is 
required
and to whom it should be paid.

 

If you are not the right person to deal with this correspondence, please 
put it in the hands of the person who can.
