LMS Porters' Trolley Free to Good Home
A slightly unusual one here........

At work, an ex LMS Wolverton built porters' trolley is in the way of
some development work and is to be disposed of. The trolley was
built at Wolverton works in batch TW 17. The brakes are operated by
raising and lowering the handle. The brakes work fine, I've tested
them! The wooden deck is rotten and will need replacement, but the
rest of it appears intact.

The present owner has offered it free of charge to any railway
preservation group, or enthusiasts who wish to restore it. The new
owner will need to arrange their own transport to collect the
trolley from Chester.

Apologies for the slightly poor quality photos, I took them with my
mobile phone, I did not have my camera on me when I came across the
trolley. Photos are available at:

If any group or individual is interested in acquiring this trolley
please contact me at johnmurray1960@yahoo.co.uk giving details of
the intended use and I'll pass these on to the present owner.

An update. I have been contacted by a preservation society who would
like the trolley and it has been provisionally offered to them.

I will keep a reserve list in application order, in case it does not go
through for any reason.
