woodchip the big coverup
Hi

Please don't all run away at the mention of woodchip.
Ok i have 1 room with a woodchip ceiling. without taking it down (100+ old
house so most of the ceiling is likely to follow). is there a cosmetic way
to cover it up.

Nail/screw some battons to existing ceiling timbers (not laths), apply
plasterboard and skim. Nice and flat, and very little mess if skimmed
carefully.
