I forgot to say-it isn't finished yet-more detail on it's way.

Is this a real place, Edith? It doesn't look as Cumbrian as some of your
earlier works - is it in Norway? I'm interested in how high up the windows
on the house are, as though to protect them from drifting snow, and that
huge bush on to of the rocks looks quite foreign too. It makes me feel cold:
I want to go and visit the people in the house and hope they've got the
kettle on.

I'll be interested to see what details you've still to add. It looks more or
less finished to me, unless you're going to put something on the road in the
foreground.

That doesn't appear to work for me. This has happened before.

Ha ha. Very funny.

My pc or router needs a reboot or something. I can't remember
what fixed this problem last time. But I've got too many open
windows at the moment and don't want to reboot at this time to
see if that works.

The windows aren't done etc etc. It's a real place in my mind. I've been
there many times and lived there and gone down the road to the water's edge,
while I have been painting it. The trees on the top of the fell, grow on the
other side. The place is from the warehouse in my head. But I have, in
reality stayed in such places in the forests of Stange Almenning and fished
in the lakes with a box of worms and a bamboo pole. Honest.

Edith.

Edith's been everywhere, lived in hundreds of houses and huts and cabins.

Oh for heaven's sake I'll just email Orly and ask him. When *he* got a new
email address he emailed all his friends to let us know.
