Agreed! t ij is unmissable.Opens at 3,if I remember right.The 
Wildman,Arendsnest and the lovely Belgian Bar by the Tulip Htel just off Dam

Also, to get quickly and easily out of the bustle of central Amsterdam, 
take the foot ferry north from Central Station and head for Cafe Ot en 
Sein - you'd think you were in a village pub....
