Yapton Beerex 2005???
A fellow patron of my local bar is going to be in London for a meeting
from May 10-12. Since his meeting ends on Thursday I recommended to him
to stay in England a couple more days. I told him I would look up to
see if there were any close by beer festivals and when I got home my
What's Brewing/Beer had arrived in the mail. I noticed that the Yapton
festival in West Sussex would "foot the bill".

My question is that when I looked it up on CAMRA's website it stated
that tickets were available for sale as of mid March. My question is:
Is this festival like the one in Bristol where tickets have to be
purchased in advance or can one show up the day of and buy a ticket?

Any help with this question would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Bruce
CAMRA member from New Jersey

P.S. Thanks to all who replied to my "Age Requirements for the GBBF"
post I made a few weeks back. They were informative and amusing.

I think they are "up front" only. You can get them via the Selden Arms
Worthing I think.
If you need more help please re post in a day or two and I'll find out more
for you (I am in France at the moment). If you want I'll get you the tickets
and post them to you if you can reimburse me. LMK
Cheers,
Andy.

Re: Yapton Beerex 2005???
Hi Bruce,
found this out:
Tickets are available from The Maypole Inn, Yapton and The Selden Arm, Worthing or at the door on the day. By post from The Maypole
Inn, Maypole Lane, Yapton, BN18 0DP
This may help:
http://www.robg.org.uk/yapton.pdf
and the beer list is here
http://www.robg.org.uk/yapbeers.htm
(not impressed)
Apparently Friday always sells out beforehand, but Sat, Sun are OK!
On the saturday there is a vintage bus from Barnham station.
I should get a bloody free ticket for doing all this dirrty work for the organisers who are too bleedin' lazy to respond here :-(

Appologies for the beer list link - it seems to be last years!
Hope there is more imagination shown this time round.
