It was very disappointing to learn, that in my opinion one of south wales 's 
most experienced fitters has now quit Margam Depot in favour of the mobile 
gang at Newport.

This guy was the inspiration behind my website, Swindon Works trained, 
brought colourful liveries, names and black sheep to the Clas 08/09's at 
Canton Depot, played a major role in all the F xam overhauls of Class 37/56 
locomotives at Canton Depot, sorted out the nightmare problems with 37402 & 
37410, was very friendly and cooperative towards enthusiasts and above all 
was is a great friend.

What is Margam Depot's loss is Newport's gain and I hope that he will sort 
out and keep running any rogue 37's on the Rhymneys.
