For sale: 1 Undertones ticket (Glasgow Garage Sat 24 Sept)
I have a spare ticket for The Undertones at The Garage in Glasgow on
Sat 24 Sept. The last time they played the gig sold out. Face value
£15. Drop me a line if you're interested. I'm open to offers.
Thanks

Bugger, I had no idea these guys were back together. Is it the Teenage
Kicks line up? Shame I have something on that weekend.

No - Feargal Sharkey and the band went their separate ways back in the
early 80s, with no great love lost I believe. However, the new singer
is good in his own right and the band released an album of new material
last year, which included a great single (Thrill Me). I don't know how
they mix old and new songs. I've never seen them, and this is now the
2nd time that I'm failing to see the current incarnation ... sob.

That's why I was surprised they were touring.

I must admit that the purist in me would tend to prefer early That
Petrol Emotion (1st two albums). But then there is no choice.
