Incident at Neville Hill Saturday?
On my way from Leeds to Garforth on Saturday 10th, I got a fleeting glimpse
of a (GNER?) high speed train that looked to be at a strange angle at
Neville Hill depot. Was it derailed? It was such a fleeting glimpse before
parked trains got in the way that I didn't see properly. Anyone else see it?

A power car did come off the rail's during a shunting incident. Have
been told it was 43049 'Neville Hill' not sure on the accuracy of that
though.

How very true, my info states............
"At 0641 an empty GNER HST set became derailed when setting back on Midland
Mainline infrastructure in Neville HIll Depot, Leeds, and collided with an
empty Midland Mainline HST set".
"IN CONSEQUENCE 1F21 0710 LDS-EDB HAS BEEN CANCELLED".

It was indeed 43049 involved - hopefully the damage to NL's pet piece of
junk isn't too minor :-)
