Re: PING SHAZZBAT..Re...Re: HELP....LDV400...Wiring diagram
required....TIA
I have just tested the new solenoid:: With the ignition off 0 volts.....OK With the ignition on 12.78 v.....OK 1st test.....Engine running...Ignition off....Engine still runs. 2nd test....Engine running...Ignition off....Engine stopped. 3-5 tests...Engine running...Ignitionj off...Engine still runs. In the morning I will now remove the new solenoid and check for any dirt or muck in the hole and check that the plunger in the solenoid switch is in the correct position...ie that is straight and seated correctly in the pump and solenoid switch. Many thanks for your help. If you find any iron fillings in the hole where your solenoid goes, the pump is toast. (from your description, I think your pump is toast anyway)Date:Tue, 13 Sep 2005 21:34:31 +0000 (UTC) Author: |
