Vehicle Licence
I have my new SORN today - the form for licensing the car. It says I can
do it online now. So I conjure up the website and read the instructions.
Firstly, type in the reference number in the yellow square - Guess what? The
yellow square is completely BLANK! What is it about our government
departments?

The DVLA were kind enough to fine me for not filling in a SORN a few
years back, luckily I was able to prove I'd filled it in - I always
take a SORN to the post office now and get a receipt.

It's a government thing, too. They won't pay the wages to employ the
best people, for example in web page design, so you have to make do with
the leftovers. The United States online visa form has the same sort of
error in it.
