What an interesting word. I've come across many a term with differing
meanings on opposite sides of the pond, but this one takes the ginger nut. I
had a vague feeling dingleberries were something to do with sheep (without
going in to too much detail) but it seems on our side of the pond they are
something quite unmentionable on a family newsgroup (not that I've come
across anyone here yet who might be offended by such things, but who knows
how many innocent children are lurking out there, ready to be wounded
mentally for life were I to describe my thoughts here in greater detail)
whereas over there in Leftpondia the word can be happily used for a
surfboard repair kit (eh?) or for a funky font face.
