£249 Satellite navigation system in Netto from tomorrow
The system is branded as Goodman's, but I think most of the inexpensive ones have the same engine. Personally though, I think all the satellite navigation systems are way over overpriced. Still, your work can be much helped by one.....

Gizmondo are releasing a GPS system for £199 very shortly - it was
mentioned on one of the GPS websites a few days ago IIRC.
It was mentioned at http://pocketgpsworld.co.uk
A link direct to the forum is here:

"Gizmondo Navigator 2006 will be available for Gizmondo for the UK
priced at £99 and the whole of Europe for £199 from 30th September. An
in-car cradle and car charger will be available for use with the new
software priced at £29.99."
(I think the £199 price point is for the PDA style unit and UK maps, the
quote above I think is for software alone, assuming you already own a
Gizmondo hardware device)

The resolution is right, the response time is 23ms, could do with being lower,
but for that price it's pretty good.
Lacking digital inputs, but what do you expect for the price?
