'Driver's Eye' views
Further to my other posting regarding the 'Jumbo' trains, the person in
question has asked me to enquire what might be available in either DVD or
video format covering the routes worked regularily by Westbury drivers.
Apart from the runs eastward to Acton, I would imagine there are the lines
towards Exeter, Salibury (then Southampton or Eastleigh) , Bath/Bristol,
Swindon etc. As I'm not familiar with this type of film, has anyone got any
recommendations/suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Hi

Could try http://www.video125.co.uk/ - their DVDs are good productions,
though do not cover 100% of every route. Also good are the Railscene
series - show the whole route with no commentary in most cases
http://www.wolvertonrail.co.uk/acatalog/Shop_RAILSCENE_53.html is one
retailer who seems to have most of them on their site.

Cheers
Martin
