Cornbrook tram station now open (Manchester)
Yes, 'tis true, they've finally opened up Cornbrook tram station
properly. Passengers are no longer limited to changing between lines
there, they can actually get to and from the street now.

For some reason this momentous news is missing from both the GMPTE
website and the Metrolink one, but it did make the Evening News:
And it's been confirmed by one of my travelling chums too.

Pity the rush hour service fell apart again this morning...

I thought I saw a lift there when I passed the other day.

I have never understood why tickets could not be bought
_to_ Cornbrook even when it was purely an interchange.
What if you had an Altrincham - Manchester season and wanted to
travel from Salford Quays to Altrincham?

Next step - a list of departure times at each station
so we can tell how late they are running?? (And know
how much time to allow to catch NR connections)
