heads up- Three mobile sales scam
x-no-archive: yes

some friends have been cold called recently, by people claiming to be from
vodafone or other mobile networks, trying to get them to upgrade their
phone- even though some had only just signed up to x netowrk, or their
contract is a long eway from ending..

If they ever get a cold call again in future, regardless of who it is, just
say the phone number has been registered with the telephone preference
service and before you know it, the line will click and then go dead without
as much as a goodbye. These scum are not filtering calls out so they
immediately end the call as soon as you mention TPS. As I now want to
report these scum, I go along with the call to get as many details of the
firm as I can, and then tell them its a TPS registered line. I've already
made 2 complaints to the TPS this month. Whether it makes a difference, who
knows, but it gives me a sense of satisfaction inside - probably very sad, I
know!

Re: heads up- Three mobile sales scam
My mum had one of these a few weeks ago stating their calling on behalf of
O2

They had all the correct details including her O2 number, so she took it a
genuine
She took their offer for a new Nokia 6680 & it arrived with a '3' sim pack &
a new number.
I thought this was odd & got her to contact O2, who are aware of this but
she now has 2 contracts when she only wants one & the '3' contract is for 18
Months & they're refusing to cancel it even though she has not signed
anything as it a paperless contract ???

If you tried to cancel within 7 days of receiving the pack then I believe
that the distance selling regulations are inforce. Simply tell them to
cancel, cancel any dd they have setup and inform trading standards.

Oh - and it's OK for you to hijack an entire post with your petty arguments
with someone else on your thoughts regarding the OP on a Bush TV for 40p.
The OP made a good obervation regarding data protection and you spout a load
of irrelevant shyte.
So - 'Holier than though' - you're a hypocritical fool who I have now
blocked as someone with little to offer (ooops forgot about the Yeo Vally
YAWNNNNNN)

Re: heads up- Three mobile sales scam
So where the feck do you get off telling other people what and where they
can and cannot type then??

I've been reading some of your posts with interest, no, amusement it has to
be said. How can anyone claiming to be the fountain of all knowledge, all
offers, all seeing and just the most wonderful person on the face of God's
green Earth be such a total moron???

You obviously have no intelligence to enter into any kind of debate or
argument without resorting to personally attacking people, the Companies
House information was exceptionally funny when people on here started saying
where this info can be got hold of for free you lose the plot and start
slagging them off saying they don not have a clue. Oh and I am a company
credit analyst before you decide to tell me I don't know what I am talking
about it is my profession to analyse company accounts that ARE freely
available over the internet as this is the law that companies list accounts
in the public domain.

You even start on people when they agree with you, you really are illiterate
aren't you?!

I notice how you offer to start slapping people or offering them your
address so they can come and meet you - brilliant, I would love to see the
look on your face when somebody does; and somebody will!

Either crawl back under the rock you emerge from every so often oh and one
final thing LEARN TO USE A SPELL CHECKER!!!

Yes, its the nym-shifter also known as 'Jenny Adams', AKA 'Verminous
Sociopathic Trolling Cretin'.

Shouldn't he be back at school by now? Or have they closed down the
'special' school he so obviously attends?
